Hi beverlyz,

So glad you found it helpful! I presume you mean you checked out the forum online not that you attended to live event in Orlando.

I sat in on the afternoon forum and also found it very interesting. One big advantage of the SAS Visual Analytics product is that it helps companies by removing the upfront work that the data prep people needed to do in the past. In real time companies can look at literally billions of rows of data on the fly without data sampling. This is a tremendous advantage over older means of data collection and presentation.

Using analytics to take a more level headed look at your business is kind of what this discussion is all about, Jenn. Hope you found the session interesting with abundant applications for your own situation.

The forum was quite interesting this morning. I especially agreed when the speakers agreed that big data could be especially beneficial to a company wanting to increase revenues, providing "checks and balances" were maintained. In other words, I believe they meant while keeping a level head as to its consistency and benefit.
