Businesses that operate without accurate data are operating in the dark. Though most organizations understand that data is important, many are still struggling to create value with it. Others are mastering big-data analytics -- emerging as industry leaders armed with deep insights and faster, better decision making.
In a SAS-sponsored report, "Big-Data: Lessons From the Leaders," the Economist Intelligence Unit explores how far along companies are on their data journeys and how they can best exploit the massive amounts of data they are collecting. The report draws on a survey of 752 executives, as well as in-depth interviews with 17 senior executives and experts who are regarded as data pioneers.
