What will the role of the data guard be anyway? Securing physical infrastructures or protecting the other members of the data staff?

@Seth maybe they'll find it tucked away inside an abandoned smart house that seems to be haunted...

Scooby and shaggy could not be here today becaus they were off searching for the missing data.

The data bodyguard may be where we're headed if things continue like they have the last several years. Will the 'old time' (and illegal) protection organizations enter this new field?

Couldn't  the functions of Data Steward and Custodian be combined ?

Doing this would allow a company to buy more storage to store all this data.

Just one?

Some companies need to double up on the body guards, I would be willing to bet that Moose has a friend named Hauws that could help out.

I can think of many occasions when I needed the custodian the most--cleaning up the data messes! Gives a whole new meaning to data integrity!

@tinym Yes, if only it were as simple as hiring a big guy to guard it!

I can think of several companies who could have used a data bodyguard in recent months...
