@broadway you just reminded me of something else for the old analog days. Our local library uses old card catalog cards for scratch paper next to the catalog computers. It was fun explaining the card catalog to our kids.

@tinym, I think we'll be hard pressed to explain to kids the days when you couldn't look up anything on the internet at any time. The day when it was ok not to know the answer to something.

@Ariella I like to watch our kids faces when we tell them about the old days when we talked to our friends, out loud, on the family telephone. It's funny how a single cartoon on A2 can bring up so many old memories.

@tinym oh, they have other ways of making me feel old, especially when I suggest that it's possible for kids to live without cell phones.

@Ariella did you feel old when you had to explain carbonless paper to your kids? I don't know why we still refer to transfer paper like this :)
