NO RATINGS

There are certain things we know are going to feel bad, having a simulated experience does help to bring more empathy to people.  Having worked in a hospital, I've learned to withhold judgement to things that I may have in the past been less tolerant to.

There are other things that I'd rather not experience, such as being eating by a shark or stabbed a hockey mask killer.  At least with virtual childbirth, it would build some understanding vs. post traumatic stress.

Simulation is one of the best job trainings I've had and wish more companies would use it.

I am also interested to hear how this turns out. I love this idea and I have a feeling that it is going to end up having a fairly significant impact on a lot of fields.

@Candidonick. I'll put "virtual birth" for men right up there with some of the stupid human tricks that most of us tried when we were 10 or 12. "I wonder if this would hurt" And, of course, it hurt.

James, I must say, that was quite the hook. Now, I'm imagining giving virtual birth.

Definitely let us know how it goes on Tuesday, for those unable to attend!
